Encore cutting my finger

Has anybaody had this issue?

This is pretty off the wall and would like to get it fixed ASAP.

Basically the issue is, When firing my Encore pistol, my trigger finger is getting cut into by the bottom edge of the reciever during the recoil.

Im hoping that maybe I can just get that edge bevelled down or something.

Im open to suggestions.

First, Welcome.

My dad had a Benelli Montefeltro that did the same thing. It seemed to be just an unfortuante fit. Gloves may help, but this is a tough one to beat. Dad ended up switching to a Browning Gold. These were shotguns mind you, but same issue.

Welcome Wildcat from one newby to another,
Yes the stock grips are going to tear your finger up, I shoot a 454 so I can relate to your problem. I have just purchased a Pachymar decelerator grip for my pistol and I'll let you know how it works out. The gun shoots fine but the guy holding it handicaps the gun,but I'm trying. Headed to Delaware this weekend for pistol season for deer, will let you know how it goes.
