quick question

Can an encore pistol frame be turned into a rifle and vise versa? I know the legality issue of it, but are they the same frame?

The Thompson Frame (trigger and hammer assembly) can be used for pistol, shotgun,rifle or muzzleloader. I also have heard that Encore and Pro Hunter are pretty much interchangeable. I do know that if I take my 12 inch 454 Casull and put a rifle stock on it , it is a definate no no. Hope this helps.

The frames are universal between centerfire, rimfire, pistol, rifle, shotgun and muzzleloader. It is the barrels and thus the forearms that may differ. For instance, depening on barrel contour you may need a different forearm...muzzleloader/shotgun/rifle.
