|  30/30 Contender
I just got a TC Contender 30/30 14 inch barrell. Anyone have a suggestion for a whitetail load? At one time bullets by Hornady and Sierra were made for single shot pistols. They were around 130 grains. Any experience with these?

My concern is with the reduced velocity in the short barrel shooting a rifle bullet. Have you seen performance of the bullet? Is there adequate expansion for a clean kill?
