How to De-Cock

I inherited my fathers TC Encore Pro Hunter 20gauge and was wondering after you can load it and cock it, is there a way to de-cock it other than firing it?

Thanks

I have a t/c contender. I would put the trigger selector to safe (Middle) & lower it as you pull the trigger. Point the gun in a safe direction , of course.
