Question T/C R-55 .17 Mach II Semi-auto

Rimfire R-55 Sporter - Thompson/Center

Any reviews here ... or thoughts on the .17 HM II ?

... this is a nice rifle, IMHO and I would like more information before a potential purchase. Thanks in advance...

HRMII

Larry,
T/C obviously makes a Great firearm, I would personally consider the caliber! What are you going to use the HRMII for?
The HRMII is very fast, But not long range, 100 yds is about the max effective range, This is based on experience, I too loked at HRMII and shot a friends gun, He loves it for varmints, Up close.
I would consider .223 or .243 or 22-250 depending on what you will use the rifle for, Thats the decision you have to make.
Good Luck
See what others opinions are before deciding.
Regards

Basically... an option along with the Ruger 10/22 in .22LR. I don't want to re chamber the Ruger ... and a Semi-auto is my interest.

Thanks for your reply...
