.30 GNR Barrels for Contenders

Do any of you own or have fired the .30 GNR barrels for the standard Contender offered by Gary Reeder I believe? Are they that much better or more accurate than the standard .30-30 Win barrels that they are a derivative of?
I have a Contender that I deer hunt with. I usually use a 14" .30-30 Win barrel with a brake. I am just trying to see if there is really that much more range attainable with the .30 GNR or if it is more accurate.
Any thoughts?
