if you never tryed crow hunting , you are missing something !!!!! we got 2 seasons here in michigan... 1 in the spring and 1 in the fall. the fall hunt is a pain cause of the skeeters. the 1 in the spring is better if the weather is good... we have 12 crow dec's and an owl. use a caller with a crow and owl fight tape. it brings them fast... go t crowbuster.com and read some of the neat stuff. they even have death letters people send in.. good for a laugh...
if you get a good spot and get them to come in you can sit for hours. and shoot all you want.
they have had crow hunts contests here . 20 bucks for a 2 man team . team with the most crows wins 350 bucks and the largest crow is woth 150 bucks. the last 1 we did had 150 teams and the team with 75 crows won.. the they have a drawing for your choice of a rifle or a shotgun....

If in parody you imply that I do not have a right to use the EGA, I would beg to differ. Once a Marine always a Marine. Or if you mean in parody that it is a knockoff of the EGA. Again I beg to differ, as it is a reduced pic that was taken off the Corp's official website..
And to put it more simply yes I was in the Corp. And I take no offence to what you may or may not have implied. I would feel the same as you.

You'll have to forgive 7mmag6. He's an old, cranky Leatherneck who sniffs too much bore cleaner even when he's not cleaning his weapon! Supposedly, he was born in the hallway of some place called Montezuma.

Favorite to hunt?

Prairie dogs and Coyote.
In that order for me.
I use a Bushmaster (Disipator) 223 or sometimes a Browning A-Bolt 223 WSSM.

What happens to the Prairie dogs after you hit them with a .223 let alone a WSSM? I use .22LR on prairie dogs, but have never taken my .223 to em. I know it will kill em, but will the .233 gut em too? Not poken fun at ya Mark just wondering is all.

Ground hogs with a 223 using the TNT bullet or the 6 Remington with a 55 gr Ballistic tip 49 grains of Varget at a mere 4230fps http://www.accuratereloading.com/6mmrem.html
