bait for fox traps

By far the best bait I've used for fox are cracklins. They are just little pieces of fat fried up nice and crisp. I find them in the meat section at the grocery store. Now keep in mind that they may be a southern thing...lol. Don't know if you can find them up north. They will usually catch a fox for me (lots of fox here) in about 3 hours. Good luck.

I use roadkill, or I go out with a .22 and shoot bout 11 rabbits. Then I place em in a circle round my call. Works on Coyotes really well.
