| Primos makes good ones. Knight and Hale all seem kinda the same IMHO. I bought one from Cabelas thats metal and has 2 reeds in it. Its brown and is really loud! Cant remember who makes it. I'll have to go look. Open reeds take alot of practice, but can pay off when you master them.

| Im not sure you can find them everywhere but Burnham Brothers makes some fine calls. They are kinda the guys that really brought about varmint calling here in the Hill Country of Texas. I believe they still have a little shop in Burnett, Tx. where they started. Anyhow, great calls and very cheap compared to others. They also have a digital caller called the compucallerII, i dont know if you are into digital calls but it is a fine product.www.burnhambrothers.com/ |
