more deads hogs

I went looking for hogs Tuesday night to break in my new Remington(see generel rifle, resurected Remington for story) and found a group of about 30 good sized ones. They were about 300 yards away, and when the light first hit them I thought they were calves because there were so many! Then I remembered the cattle were in the other pasture. There was a big calico sow I wanted to take, but this one kept getting in the way. Talk about bad karma! Its really amazing how much ground hogs can cover when under fire.

Hey frozentorso, that pic looks a little green to be in north Texas! Unless you all have been getting this rain that we've been getting here in the hill country?

Just south-east of Amarillo. They've gotten drenched the last 2 months.

Thats good to hear. There has been good rain around Austin but we are just today getting some good rain out west around Mason. Im sure you've seen it coming out of Mexico by way of Del Rio. Well i hope we all keep getting it.
