nikon prostaff 3-9x40mm on the .243, and a Redfield Accurange 3-10x40mm on the .22-250.

.22-250 is great for p-dogs. Very accuret, and has some legs. Personally I use a .17 HMR, but that's me. Great little rifle if you don't plan on shooting past 300 yds.

i would deffinetly go with the 22-250 but bring the marlin along too... why not?
