| Varmit rifle-impulse buy...
Picked up a varmit rifle yesterday on a whim... hope I did "ok"... Savage Model 10 22-250 heavy barrel...bipod and 4-16x40 scope. Like new gave $300 for it.... hope to take it out today and see how she shoots... |

To me a varmint class rifle is a rifle I can pack out in the field and yet get the precision of competition rifles with all the weight.Sounds like you made a good deal on this one.Even if it needs rebarreled it is low priced. sam.
