two70 you recon a 3X9 "50"mm scope would be better ? We both know the rifle would be an excellent choice. But I kinda wish now thats what I'd put on my Hawkeye 77...A.H

For what it is worth, I have a CZ 527 American in 204 Ruger and I put a Tasco World Class 4-16 scope on it. I think I only paid 145.00 for the scope, and it has proven to be very accurate at the range. I haven't tried it on coyotes yet, I'll keep you posted.

I use the .204 Ruger,26"custom barrel on an AR action and have a Nikon 6.5x20x50 scope and it is super on the range but a bit much for coyotes.I've never failed to get the yote but the paralax and power adjustments bug me.I would rather have a 3x9x50 or less for most varmint hunting.I really like it punching paper.I use 40gr VMAX and the preformance is virtually identical with the .22-250. sam.
