Cat Pictures

I have a good friend who is an avid outdoorsman and has hunted all his life. One of the things he does is run dogs after mountain lions. for the last couple of years he has been involved in a goverment project that tracks them, darts them and tags them. he has sent me many pics of his trips. Sadly, this winter he was in a snowmobile accident that nearly claimed his life and he has been laid up since. One of his friends sent him these which he passed on to me I thought some folks might enjoy them. I believe they were taken in Utah. I dont personally know the guy in the pic he is a friend of my friend, but he looks like he has more guts then a young crow. How many of us can say they touched the tail of a mountain lion?

Thanks Dave for passing along the pictures and possible the cat had already been darted is why he did that foolish stunt.

Good to see the pictures. The last cat hunt I was on was in 1985 at Jackson,Wyoming.Went with a father son team and the son shot both cats with a bow and arrow. We had 7 hounds and the hardest part was holding the hounds while he shot the cats. There was lots of snow and it was the first time I used ski,s instead of snowshoes.Ski,s are much better as far as I am concerned. With the snow so deep the chases werent long. sam.

Very sweet pics, agreed with murph, we have nothing like that here, maybe a few rumoured cats but nothing I have seen or shot at.
