If you have it mounted correctly get a good rest, preferably sandbags and sight it in perfect at 25yds so it is shooting one hole 3shot groups about 1"low and then using the highest power on the scope, set a 1" bullseye at 100yds and center the shots on it.Remember, each clic is a 1/4"or 4 clicks to the inch at 100yds. sam.

Fit the scope to the rifle and make sure all the screws are tight (dont overtighten the rings on the actual scope) Just so its solid and wont move. Then I will shoot at an A4 piece of paper aiming for a black dot in the middle that i drew on. Do this from 25 yards. When you see the hole that the bullet put in, adjust your scope accordingly so it hits dead on after a few more shots. Then I move to 50 yards and fire, then get it dead on again, then it should be pretty much smack bang on for 100. But you can always go out to 100 and test its zero and check group sizes. I think there isnt even a quater of an inch difference between 50 and 100 yards with the 17gr ballistic tips so I dont bother sighting at 100 yards. I already know the ammo it shoots best so its just a matter of getting it hitting sweet at fifty and I know anything out to 100 is able to be headshot very easily.

Lemme' see if I've got this straight. Your rifle is shooting to point of aim at ten yards, but does not at one hundred. Are your shots landing either above or below point of aim, or are they somewhere to the left or right? Such as one inch low and two inches left. Also need to know if your groups are tight at one hundred, or are they all over the target? Post up an image of your 100yd target if you can. Need to know in detail exactly what it is doing wrong.
