| yes it does have the accutrigger. I have never been able to compare with/without but I have heard that the accutrigger is awesome. |

| .17, .223., .243 I have all 3 and I just had this conversation last night at the Mule Deer Dinner. I dont like the .17. cant reload, expensive ammo, limited range. Love the .223. (Sav. 116) if all you are going to do is shoot varmint then its perfect, but... If you want an all round caliber that you can load 55 gr. varmint loads to 100 gr. deer loads the .243 is the choice. I really enjoy the explosion the 55 gr. does on a ground squirrel at 4000 fps. |

| if its just groundhogs at close range id go with the .17hmr, i have 1 and its a great gun, but if you want an all around rifle for bigger game like coyote then you should go with the .223 |
