Just jump on that little bassmouth and bite his ear! While he is distracted with the pain get after him with your pocket knife!

At least, that's how we did it back home!

Thomas the dickens you say? Think about this some...to fix a flat at the very least is 15 bucks these days. The cost of a 22lr shell is still cheaper than that! Mosin fodder is 22cents a round and will light that Badger a new one!

But if you are a real man then take your Case stockman, use the sheepfoot blade and get after 'em!!!!

STAY AWAY! those things are very angry all the time, (like my wife)! If you can see them in a good set of glass with a .223, TAKE EM! use what you have in you hand and pray. or you'll be prey.

someone please put up a pic? Only familiar with english badgers- grumpy but not dangerous except maybe if a small todler stuck his head down the hole. Or are you guys just joking about badgers being dangerous?
Perhaps an Australian parallel- our wombats cant really hurt you unless you grab them, but they're tough bastards and a 243 is good medicine.
