Everything seems to be picking up, might be the dry spell.

Have gotten 4 small pigs this week, and was only going out the back to start the water pump.

Last week i went spotlighting and we saw 12 foxes but only got 3 and a heap of bunnies.

Irish, you would have to agree that it doesnt matter how many bunnies you shoot and how much you get into big ferals, blowing up thumpers never gets boring.

Thumbs up

Irish...I visited your great country five years ago but only traveled in the state of Victoria. I suppose all the drop bears were sleeping when we were in their environment.(ha) But...the Koala's were seen several times, mostly eating euculiptus leaves or sleeping. Hope to get back there again and see the sights in other states.

A few pics have been posted in this thread mate.Im not game enough to take a pic of one.Bloody things can smell cameras half a mile away, and they dont like them.As for getting one for you MI for xmas. That is a cracking idea. All you have to do is send her over here on holiday.Pick her destination for her, book her accomadation.Make sure its in a bush setting.Tell her to venture out in the wild of our bush looking for our beautiful bird life and take heaps of pics.Pretty sure she will encounter a DB within the first 8 hours and hey presto you MI problems are over.

OX,you got to see some of australias finest then .But victoria is only a small part.Hope you come back mate, look me up.

Im Not going anywhere near a drop bear man,

I like all my parts how they are now.

The worst part is they are so hard to spot, so you never know if they are in the tree you just decided to stop under.

The best part of Melbourne is looking at it in the review mirror on the way out. Back to front shit of a place. I lived there for 4 months and vowed never to return,LOL. The rest of the state is nice though.

I have found that the flash from the camera sends em mad. They are mean little buggers at the best of times, let alone when you piss one off, they scare the snot out of me.

My cousin threw a rock at one when we were kids. He only ever made that mistake once. I thought he was a goner for sure.

As for the Wikipedia sight, you blokes do realize that anyone can edit that page. I could start a page saying i was the 2nd president of the USA. Dont make it true.

Ok, so how hard is it to bring our own guns there? I don't know about shooting a camel, I hear they can spit pretty far, and don't smell all that good. Do you eat them? Maybe for my 45th bday, I will give myself a present, and fly on over there.
Saw a show some twenty plus years ago, of people living in homes they dug out as mines for gem stones, and always wanted to give that a try.
