Hey guys, Have you heard of the new aguila interceptors, It is a 40 grain solid point bullet that shoots at 1470 F.P.S and has 192 LBS. of muzzle energy! That some serious power for a 22LR. Compare it to the CCI Velicoters, with a 40-grain bullet at 1435 F.P.S and 183 LBS. of Muzzle energy. Read this review on this sight about how these guys hunted coyotes with them. I tried them for my Ruger MkII pistol. Also tried their Sniper Sub-Sonic round. The Interceptors just wouldn't group good enough for me. The sub-sonics did very good up to about 40 yards, then became too unstable. The 60 grain bullet requires a faster twist barrel. However, the penetration of the sub-sonic rounds are unreal. You wouldn't believe me if I posted it, so I'm not. They also functioned flawlessly in the auto pistol. Just wish I had a 1:9 twist.
