| My military service, etc: Hello all, Since there was no threads here I thought I would post one. Anyone ever serve in the 1/6th Infantry? I would surely love to find any old buddies out there. I would love to find my old batallion CO, Maj. James S. White. So in 1973 and '74 I served in 2nd Squad, 2nd Plt., "Bravo" Co., 1/6th Inf., 1st Ard. Div., Illesheim Kaserne, W. Germany. While there my nickname was "Gomer". I wish sometimes that I had've stayed in and made a career of it. I got out of the Army in '74 and went into the Marines and served in MACS-5 (Marine Air Control Squadron-5), USMC, Beaufort Air Station. Now I am a Correctional Officer in an Alabama Prison. Take care, Pistolero Millbrook, Al.. |

| You and NRAJoe have something in common - both served in Germany. I had an Airforce buddy who got sent there too. Me, I never got to see Europe - bummer. Two years of high-school German gone to waste!
