| i found my old buddy
i enlisted in the marines in janurary 1964 with two of my high school friends...... two of us went regular, and one joined the reserves..... we two regulars went through boot camp together and infantry training, and then got seperated and went to seperate schools.... he went to engineers, i went to radio schooling.... we were seperated, then both went seperately to vietnam..... in march 1966 i was in a very hot fight.... about 3 weeks later, i was doing security for a mine sweeping patrol, and who do i see but the guy i joined up with... turns out he was in the very same fight we were in, not more than 300 feet away........ saw him for about 3 years after we got out, then lost contact with him...... i started looking for him about 2 years ago, when i got a computer and after a year or so i found him..... (the wonders of the computer world......) i visited him and corresponded with him all winter and just spent a week helping him to move to wyoming...... all that combat shit kind of fragmented my mind, and its really nice to be back in contact with my old friend....... |

That's really cool! I've been in contact with several of my old high school , and military buddies through Classmates.com. You can list your schools, military units, and places of employment.
