Obama scraps visit to wounded troops...

BERLIN (AP) - Sen. Barack Obama scrapped plans to visit wounded members of the armed forces in Germany as part of his overseas trip, a decision his spokesman said was made because the Democratic presidential candidate thought it would be inappropriate on a campaign-funded journey.

As I suspected, that website only tells part of the story.

hey marine1..... i'm a marine too.....

our present president has made it his policy to not show the dead coming back from iraq and afganistan..... he doesn't want to aknowlege all the head injuries from the troopies there.... he doesn't want anyone to know.... he sort of holds himself above responsibility for the results of his .... statesmanship? .....

i suspect that obama may end up being our next president..... i have nearly no idea how well he will perform the office, but nearly anyone will do better than our present head of state......

at least obama can speak english coherently......

i hope i'm not being too political, if i am, please give me pardon.......

After watching & listening to him on the BBC news in London this morning, I wish he'd skipped his European tour.

I wish he'd skipped even getting involved with politics. Much as I hate to admit it...

Even Hitlery would be a better president than Obama...

I still don't like either of them though.

Actually, it might lead to forcing the question

of how millions of voters went for him in the primaries as an anti-war
candidate and now he's a "listen to the commander in the field" candidate.
