Stationed at Travis AFB, Fairfield, Ca.

1501 CEMS working on C-97, C-124, C-133 plus T-33, Cessna 310, C-45. C-54, C-130 and many transient aircraft.

The SAC group had B-36's when I arrived at Travis and then switched to B-52's.

The ADC wing had F-102's.

National Guard 1970 - Present. 11B, 13B, 42A. 25 years commissioned officer; Btry Commander, BN & BDE FSO, BN Commander. Currently SFC, E-7 working as Admin NCO for a REGT HQ. 1.5 years to retirement at age 60.

I serverd 3 years active 502 cab batt 2 AD fort hood tx as a 67n ,67y (helicopter mech/crew cheif) from 1983-1986 then went active res 145 med vac dobbins AFB ets 1991

Started out as an 11B, went 16D (IHAWK Missile Crewmember), then 24N (CHAPARRAL System Mechanic).

Was also an armorer at almost every duty station.
