U.S. Army, retired, CW4, pilot. Desert Storm, Somalia and another year flying in the Middle East. Many of my friends still fly the "friendly skies". I now spend as much time as possible enjoying the quiet of the woods. Thanks.

Read 'em all, sir, I was a North Vietnamese linguist first, and then transfered to the Seabees, and switched to carpenter. We always make it sound glorious to be a Seabee, but for the most part, it was simply hard work under bad to worse conditions. We had cooks, and pencil pushers in the battalion, but in combat conditions, we were all trained to fight. Same as the Corps! A rifleman first!
