Welcome home, bobd! I was flying recon, with VQ1, during that timeframe. I had graduated to EA3B's, by that time. It was nice, to see them step off the 141's, back into freedom! I can still see Cdr. Mccain, in my mind, as he disembarked, and saluted the welcoming officer. I have to admit, I had tears in my eyes, at the time.

This site has free thank you cards for veterans. They are business size cards that are very nice for veterans or their families. You can receive any quantity you want and when they arrive you can send a donation if you desire. I have some of these cards and regularly hand them to veterans I meet or their families.

I was at Redstone Arsenal from Nov 73-Apr '74 going to the 35F school. Had a good friend in the Hawk school. Were you there for the tornadoes that ended up trashing 5 states that spring?
