I agree with Rice Paddy, come on in, and get to know the veteran members. We don't claim to be the sharpest tacks in the box, but we got some real life experience to share!

Your thanks is appreciated more than you know. We did what we did because we felt a calling that not everyone gets, and most of us understand that not everyone is cut out for it. I feel honored to have served and would do it all over again. Just knowing that some appreciate what we went through makes it that much more worthwhile. Feel free to give us a holler anytime.

And Thank You!

Dave

Air Cavalry Disabled Vet

I just joined recently and love this forum. I served with the First Cav Division as an Apache Longbow crew chief. I received a medical discharge in 2002 due to a service connected back injury. My dad was infantry with the 7th infantry division, uncle was special forces with 75th Rangers and granddad was horse cavalry with the 7th cavalry. Guess we all heard the same call. Thanks to all my fellow vets for their service.
