E-5 spent most of my time in Calaforina at NIOTC, working on river craft.
Never made it to Nam. My heart felt gratude to you guys that did.

Primary reason for TDY: Classified support activities for SR-71's assigned to SEA

Army, Dec. 64 - June '69. Entered as E-1, left as O-3 (Infantry). Spent Mar. '67 thru April '68 doing field research in conflict resolution and nation building in sunny Southeast Asia.

US Army 58-61. Korea and USDB Ft. Leavenworth, Ks. Interestingly enough my Great Granfather was a proffessional solidier 1862-1894 and was stationed at Ft. Leavenworth in the mounted Infantry.

3+ | My Dad worked for Pratt & Whitney, government products, and worked at the high altitude test area that played a large part in the development of the engines for the SR-71. He was very proud of that 'till the day he died.

USN Aviation Ordnanceman First Class. Joined in 99 and just hit my 10 year mark. Deployed to Afghanistan 3 days after 9-11. Went to Iraq Jan-Aug 03. Since been to Japan, Thailand, S.Korea, P.I, and Okinawa.

Viet Nam, Oct 1966 to Oct 1967, 19th Tactical Air Support Squadron, Tactical Air Control Party attached to the 173 Army Airborne.
1967 to discharge: 4th Mobile Communications Group.
Currently retired, but I may have to go do something productive.

1/325th 82nd Airborne 11B entered as an E-2 left as an E-4. Served in afganistan (2005 parliamentary elections) Iraq (2006 Torch deployment). Got out with a Green to gold scholarship and am now finishing up college and ROTC at the University of Alabama
