First post here. US Army, 2007 - Present. I'll likely be in for a long time. MOS 13B Cannon Crewmember (Artillery). 50th Infantry Brigade.

Operation Iraqi Freedom Vet (FOB Cropper, Baghdad 08-09)

Fort Sill OK, Fort Indiantown Gap PA, Fort Bliss TX, Camp McGregor NM, Camp Beuhring Kuwait, FOB Cropper Iraq

Afghanistan may be in my near future. If not, I PCS in Sept to Jesus knows where.

Welcome, spike 7.62. I want to personally thank you and all the other active duty personnel on this board for serving our country. Long ago I was in the 46th Field Artillery Group at Ft. Carson, Colorado. We had 8" and 175mm self propelleds (open mounts on tank chassis). Red Leg, SIR!

AIT at Ft Dix Radio Operator School
Ft. Benning 313th Combat Eng Bn, made a clerk in S2 Intelligence section, which became my MOS rest of time in army served in S2 sections

RetiredFed if you are still here I worked Ft Dix 74-78 both thr stockade and then a year as a game warden. Lobo0311 I was asssigned to 3rd bde 3rd Armored 66-68 in Friedburg-Bad Nauhiem when I worked in aviation. Blue Fox

jaeger, sorry I live in Leavenworth, Ks and have since I retired in 90 Remember Wrightstown and the Carvel ice cream stand there tho. Spent 74-77 at the stockade there and 77 78 in the game warden section. The real irony is that I took basic at Dix in 65 when I first joined the Army. They used to run Drag races on Mcguire air force base right next door when I was there;

thats pretty cool. I go to the federal prison there every once in awhile. Alot has changed. Wrightstown is a ghost-town. since 9/11

USMC 2005 to present, 06-07 iraq, 08-09 iraq, gotta play grunt both times, seems amtraks dont mix well with IEDs and seeing as im a trak mechanic they just made me point man. current rank SGT.
