Talking

Hell...We got enough people and experience here to take over a small country! Armor, engineering, intelligence, pilots.....Nice to see all the services represented here.
There was a meeting between some former American and Japanese officers from WWII. One of the American officers asked one of the Japanese officers after the attack on Pearl Harbor, why didn't they (Japan) invade with ground troops? It's reported the reply by the Japanese officer was "We were not crazy! We were well aware that most Americans were armed and knew how to use their firearms".
Thanks to all the servicemen and women who fought and continue to fight to protect our freedom! And all the American people at home that believe the "2nd Amendment" is more than just words on a piece of paper!

Fine speciman of our brave servicemen and women. You must be awfully proud of him.....and rightly so.

Even as an MP, I flew many, many sorties as door gunner on Hueys (of which some missions still haven't been declassed yet). I LOVE choppers. They happen to be of more interst to me than anything involving the fighting machines.

I remember saddled in the door and taking steep banks without the harness....oh, I still long for the days when I was fool hardy. But, hey, like everyone else, I figured if the chopper went down the harness was no asset at that point and I wanted to be able to bail out, if possible.

I flew a lot of Chinooks too and hated the noise. I could hear the thump, thump, thump for hours after we landed. Having to fly with the back cargo flap partially down and the side door open didn't help any, either.

Is that an Apache he is sitting in?

Being that the Apache and Commanche are built in the Phoenix area I've had the pleasure of seeing both in action and they are impressive, to say the least.

Give him our best when you 'talk' to him again....yepper...fer sure!
