| Member | Mico, I am happy to Carry the P22 as a primary defence weapon. If you load only 8 shots per magazine, and use ammo it likes, it does not Jam. I never had the safety flipping on me either (that seems to effect some guns but not all)..I have put over 2000 rounds through it. It jams only when I use old ammo or more than 8 rounds per magazine. But new ammo and 8 rounds per magazine works flawlessly. It loves CTI stingers, Dynamit Nobel, Ely and Winchester anything... no problems with those whatsoever. I repeat, I would carry it as a reliable defence piece.

| Member | To WP 22, make sure you give your gun a thorough cleaning / oiling before firing it, as the shipping grease that come on it from the factory may hinder it's action.... let us know how it perfomed..

| Registered User | WHAT ABOUT ACCURACY I've read alot of threads here about how the gun seems to be finicky, but how does it shoot? Does anyone have any pic's of some 25 yard groups? I have only looked at these pretty little handguns, and not actually fired one. In everyone's opinion would I be better off buying a ruger or browning over the Walther p22? I'm looking for a .22 auto with 6" barrel or less, and something on the more accurate side. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I have a 8" Dan Wesson .22 that I love but am looking for something a bit smaller, that will hopefully shoot similar, or even 2/3's as good as the Wesson. |
