| Extractor Issue Anyone knowing the correct dissassembly and reassembly of a P.38's extractor please let me know how to do it. It appears to me that the extractor stud must be pressed down with a probe while rotating the extractor out, but I don't want to try too hard in case something gets damaged in the process. Am I on the right track? The need for this is because my extractor does not appear to be closing tightly, and drops shells after partial extraction. I need access to the back of the extractor to see if there is an obstruction or need for cleaning there. :target: |

| Yes you are on the right track. You'll need to compress the plunger and spring and then lift the extractor out. If you have access to a Makarov cleaning rod with the extractor removal tip on it it will work like it was made for the P'38... |
