Just Paid for my P22 3.4" 6 days ago

I cant wait to get it. I bought it at Turners in Long Beach, Ca. I have some questions. Has anyone had to replace the firing pin yet??? if so, how easy is it to break???

BUT I believe its a great starter gun, I've fired this gun before and it fires nicely, I used CCI Mini's and it didnt misfeed once, i would load 10 rounds into the clip and i didnt push them far back into the mag, i just loaded it quickly...like wam bam thank you mam...Never misfeed. I think alot of the issues stem from the gun not being throughly cleaned before its firt initial use.

There were some initial issues with the weapon. They, S&W/Walther have worked out most of the bugs. My friend has one, he likes it a lot.

Firing pins on .22 LR weapons should last a lifetime if not more. Dry firing isn't great for them. Dry firing isn't really needed woth a .22 as the ammo is cheap enough for plenty of practice. Time would be better spent wondering what you want to eat for dinner.

firing the weapon with no ammo in it. some people do this to practice trigger control.

oh i see, i think a snap cap would cure that problem.

True. Also, snap caps are cheap enough to prevent pin damage.
