Walther - P99 in .45ACP

Has anyone heard of any progress being made by Walther to market a hi cap .45 ACP on the same polymer platform as the P99.

This would be THE gun to own.

Haven't heard anything about it, myself. And if by hi-cap, you mean 10+ rounds, then no. But, I did find the SW99 that is pretty much the same thing, just with 9 round single-stack mags. The fact that S&W and Walther worked hand-in-hand on that, as mentioned there and on the P99 page, I doubt Walther will be putting any effort towards making the P99 with the .45ACP. I'd be looking more towards whether S&W will be putting out a double-stack version of the SW99 or extended, non-flush 10+ round magazines for it.
