| new to forum I am new to this forum. I just purchased a blued ppk and have not had a chance to fire it yet. It is an Interarms and came with 4 magazines as well as a pair of walnut wraparound grips, I am told from the factory by special order, with a thumb rest on it. It is supposed to be about 20 years old. I am hoping to possibly shoot it this weekend. |

| BTW, I've got a set of PPK grips that I started for a guy who bailed out on the project. They're book-matched, exhibition-grade Honduran Rosewood with a Maccassar Ebony "skunk-stripe", about 75% finished. I hate seeing them just sitting there but I don't have a gun to finish fitting them on. If you want them, I'd give them to you for the use of your gun to produce a pattern. | I really wish that I could help you out and take advantage of such a generous offer, however, I live in mid-Michigan. Quite a way from Texas-- although I do have a daugher and son-in law in Houston. Those grips look very nice. How thin are they in comparison to plastic grips? Are they for a PPK or PPKS. Anything that I can do to take them off your hands? Thanks |
