| Pictures of my new P1
Below are some pictures of my new P1. I picked her up last Saturday and I haven't even had a chance to shot her yet. Hope to change that soon!!

i bought one off the net.it was "new",made in 1977.i was told they were told they were to be issued as west german police pistols but they opted for a newer model walther,so they were sealed in plastic bags.when brought into the country the importer opened them up and put their name on it.when i got mine i field stripped it and cleaned and oiled it.i had to be hand fed for the first 100 rounds or so,then like magic it started digesting anything i put through it.i love mine and hope you have as much success with yours.i consider the p1 as one of the best buys in semi-automatic pistols in the marketplace.

I bought a P1 at a show maybe five years ago. It was new, with a holster and two mags. I paid $280 for it. My buddy Lenny whined and begged for that pistol. I eventually sold it to him. What a great point and shoot pistol the P1 is. I still kick myself sometimes for selling it to him. But I replaced it with a WWII cyq with holster and capture papers.

Wow, sorry for the late reply. Remchuck: Your a lucky guy. Where did you buy it? dmwphoto: Yes, took her out last weekend and she shot like a dream. Very accurate even with 115gr. I bought some NATO rounds as well (124gr) but I haven't tried those yet. Dookiebutt (great user by the way!): I think you didn't do "so bad" with your "trade off"! Just make sure that Lenny doesn't see your P38! I found mine by chance. I was at Gander Mountain to get the headspace measured in my Enfield and while waiting I browsed the handgun counter. They had three P1s. Starting at $220 up to $290, which I bought. All three pistols were in a nice condition but I opted for the most expensive one because it was also in the nicest condition (you kind of figured that, right?). Holster and two mags came with it. I don't regret my purchase for a second!!
