Great CCW Handgun

Looking for a small compact semi-auto or revolver.

Located in NC, but not afraid of ordering through my local FFL dealer.

Price : Flexible - not trying to break the bank here.

If I were looking I'd see if I could find a S&W M65. Round butt with the sharp edges knocked off. 4". I'd also likely carry it with .38 +P ammo.

Mine is a Rock Island Armory Compact 1911A1, in .45acp. Great carry gun, don't know if it's small enough for what you want. This one was $340 from Sarco, but apparently they still can't sell guns online, showroom purchases only. Centerfire Systems has them though, and several other places.

Why not look into the Ruger revolver that shoots the new/newer .327 mag..? They say it gives the .357 a run for its' money and with 2/3 less recoil...

Stick with the tried and true .357 magnum. It's been around for over half a century and it's not going away. If the .327 Federal doesn't catch on where are you going to buy ammo? Besides the bark of the .357 will scare away all those pain in the ass innocent bystanders.

I have a Kel Tec P11 9mm that has been shot a total of 3 times. I was waiting on a P3AT and got over anxious and bought P11 and the P3AT came in 2 weeks later. I live in NC, also can do FTF $250.00.

Glock 23 or 27. I have both and they have been the most reliable pistols I have ever owned. They are not pretty but work great.

Don't waste your money on a 327, the 357 is as good as it gets plus you can practice with 38 sp ammo.

Makes sense of course. I wonder, can you shoot .32 mags through a .327?

+ 1.

I would worry that the ammo will be very scarce years down the road. You know a .357 will still be around when your kids are old. If .357 is too much shoot .38's out of it.
