I have a brand new in the box never fired 300wby mag Vanguard Stainless. I have a friend who wants it so I was wondering how much they go for in stores and how much i should sell it to him for.

Thanks

.300 wby mag is an awsome round, i personally dont care for the stainless barrel. but understand why it sells for an extra 150.00

i dont know why you'd want to sell it, i'm gonna give mine to my son... or daughter. whichever one wants to shoot it first.

Ammo used to be affordable, and Weatherby brand, but now is ridiculous. Handloading is the only way to go. If you're not going to handload, or pay >$50 a box, sell it. Back in the day the blued ones went for $400ish. I would consider $400-450 on the used stainless one a good deal for you.
