My dad has a Howa 1500 in .338 Win. Mag. and I does well (he keeps loading for bullet devastation rather than accuracy) but nevertheless it shoots acceptably well a 200 yds. but i'm sure this rifle is capable of shooting better if he knocks the load down just a bit, and uses 225gr. bullets instead of 200 gr. bullets (better B.C.) IMHO. anyone else have a take on accuracy improvments or general experiences with this particular rifle, or others like it? By the way his groups are around 2-2 1/2-3" RANGE (on a good day) thanks all!

I have a Howa 1500 in .338 Win Mag and my accuracy has been right around 1" with 225 grain Hornady Interlock handloads running along right at 2800 fps. The gun shoots much better than I will, as have all Howas that I have seen or shot.
