Thumbs up Man, my shoulders sore...{:^)

Put 50 rds through my Model 94 Winchester carbine in .44mag today. Didn't think it would kick so much in a rifle. Used PMC 240 gr. TCSP bullets. Forgot how much fun the lever actions can be. Tore the middle out of every target! Could only shoot out to 50 ft on the inside range.Got no bigger than 1 1/2 inch groups right in the middle. I'd like to take a deer with this puppy....good brush gun fer sure!

Joe, the 94s are great guns. Although, I haven't shot the .44 mag. I would imagine it does get to ya after a while.

And chance of putting a recoil pad on it?

Growing up in PA I ussed an older 94 30-30 with open buckhorn sights. I've taken some deer with it and I've laid waste to many a ground hog too.

Congrats! Have fun with it.

Talking YEAH!

Think I'm gonna look into a recoil pad, or wear a thicker shirt! Sure was fun though...BIG BANG!
