Anyone know where I can get a magazine for a Winchester Model 69A. It is a .22 short mag. I can find the .22lr magazines all over the place. But I cannot locate the .22 short mag magazine. Any help you can give would be great. Thanks.

It looks like MidwayUSA has two mags that sound like they would fit a 69A.

Is your rifle strictly a 22 short. There are plenty of mags around for your rifle but they are 22 lr. Does it shoot all three rounds or just the shorts.

My 69A is marked S, L, or LR. The same mag should work for all 3, short, long, or long rifle. I got my extra mags from The Gun Parts Co., aka Numrich Arms.

Winchester developed the Short-only magazine because the 22 Shorts did not work well with the original magazine which was intended for 22 Long Rifle. The current production magazines are for the Long Rifle cartridge, so attempting to use Shorts in it may also have feed problems.
The old Winchester Short magazines are occasionally available (at a premium) on the auction sites.
