Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble with 100 gr .243 WSSM? I have a Model 70 Featherweight with a 1/10 twist, and I dont know if its me or the ammo, but its not as accurate as the 55 gr. out around 200 yards. The chamber pressure makes it hard to throw the bolt, also. If it's not going to be a good gun for varmints and deer, which is why I bought it, I'm going to turn it.

i dont have first hand experience with the cartridge, but have seen a few complaint about rough feeding, have not heard much on accuracy. i have done alot of shooting over the years with a 6mm rem with a 1-10" barrel that does wonders with 100gr bullet, and so so with lighter ones. i am slightly concerned about your bolt being hard to open though. i shoot one in .270wsm which runs at the same 60,000+ pressures and have no issues with opening the bolt.

Accuracy is great with 55gr. Thats what I capped that coyote with. I sent it back to Winchester/Browning for the bolt problem and took my glass off to put on my new Bushmaster. They sent it back with no explanation of what they did or if the problem is fixed. So now I dont know whether to go to the trouble of re-scoping it if it's not fixed, especially if I cant use 100 gr. for deer. Muzzle V isnt that different between the .243 and the WSSW, so thats not a problem. I'm using the Bushy on coyotes from now on.
