while shopping at wal-mart with my girlfriend i told her i would be in sporting goods when she finished.while brousing through the guns i happened on a model 70 in 7 rem.mag.i bought it three days later on payday.im convinced this was not an isolated event.check your wal-mart,you might get lucky too.

Yes, Wal Mart does sell Win Model 70s in 7mm Rem Mag and there are still plenty floating around out there. The question is whether you got a good deal or not.

less than $400 including a simmons scope which i replaced.i had some old 870 powder and handrolled some rounds to break in the barrel.very accurate.i think all who want a model 70 pick one up while you still can;im glad i did.

That's a normal price for a regular M70. I personally would prefer a Rem 700 over the Win M70 without the claw extractor. If you did get the classic model with claw extractor, then you sure did score!

naw its push feed.im still not upset.i have a friend who carries a list of serial numbered pre-64 model 70s in his wallet.he's got it bad.
