Winchester Model 90 & Model 1903

I am new to this, but I have a question on 2 rifles. Model 90-22WRF with pat. dates from 1888 to 1911 and ser. #4774*** it is in fair to good cond. I am have a hard time finding a value or even a listing in the 6 book I have from the library.
The 2nd one is a mod. 1903-22 cal with dates from 1901 - 03 it has the plain stock it is in better cond than the other one. If any one has any ideas where to get an idea of value. I plan to take it in to have them appraised someday.

First, I believe you mean a Winchester Model 1890 slide action .22WRF, I do need abit more info for accuracy, Whether it is a Solid Frame or a Takedown frame(second model), and your serial # has too many digits, I will assume 6 digits which would indicate 1911 Mfg. Date. Which should make it a Takedown post 1901 making the value From 500.00 for a 50% shape to 1000.00 for a 98% and All Original and Not Refinished...
The 1903 -.22 cal Was Mfg. from 1903-1932...IT IS .22 WIN AUTO Rimfire, Not .22 LR... Value runs Apprx 600.00 for 60% shape to 1300.00 for a 98% shape gun. The Earliest model of this had No Safety up to Ser.# 5000.

On the octagon barrel of the 1st one right after the patent info it just says Model 90-22 W.R.F. I had been wondering if it was considered a 1890 Model, and maybe that is why I couldn't find it in the books. It is a take down, and the serial # is 6 digits I don't believe it has been refinished but the stock does have a crack in it. It was my late Uncle's gun and he put some type of tape around it that I have not taken off.

The 1903 does have a safety and the ser. #978** (5 digits)

Glad to assist you anytime !
The cracked stock can be repaired by a COMPETENT Gunsmith and if done properly with acraglas will be almost invisible, and will never crack again in that spot.
