Remove the forearm and relieve it, so it's not pushing your narrel around. Also, make sure your barrel band's not too tight or loose. Believe it or not, that can have a really disastrous effect on accuracy.

If you zero the gun at 200 yards, you'd only have to compensate for about 2 feet of drop. Not too bad for a 30/30

Hornady

The leverrevolution bullets are considerably longer and dont work well in older rifles with slower twist. sam.

Zero a M94 with irons at 200? I'd like to see that All the 94's Ive had, it'd be hard to tell where the group was. The 4" groups of the original post sounds about average for a 94 to me. Face it, 94's weren't made to be tack drivers.

Im now convinced it has a bent barrel. 4" at 100yards but left and high 4 inches higher than i can adjust to and 200 yards its about 15" group and 12" left.

Im now tossing up wether i retire the old girl and just admire it or rebarrel, if i can find a suitable/cheap barrel.

Thanks for all the advise.
Are you sure that it is not an issue of the muzzle crown being damaged?

It would take alot to actually bend a barrel.

Like a horse falling on it in its scabbard?
An experienced "gun nut" should be able to see if the barrel is bent by looking through the bore.

Doesnt look bent, but it wouldnt take much.

How about a stress point? Have out it away for now and have been using the K-31. I suppose it will be my next project since i have now finished my k-31

Who's talking iron sights. I have a nice leupold rifleman scope 4-12x40mm. I think you need to try Leverevelution bullets. Also mine is a 1969 and the bullets are not to long.
