Please HELP!!!When did??????????

When did Winchester become USRAC?Which one's are better?Looking at two 94's.One is 4.3 mil. and the other is 5.1 mil..Some of the part's look different.For example:the part that lift's the cartridge and the part that come's up behind the bolt.The 5.1 mil. part's look smoother and maybe chrome plated.Is there much of a difference between pre and post USRAC.Please HELP.Need to choose between the two.The price is the same but the 5.1 mil. is in better condition.Which one????????

BTW:The 5.1mil. seem's to function smoother.

USRAC, 1981
GIAT, 1991
Too many variables as to which maker/mfg. is was or will be better. Take the better quality gun regardless of the mfg status.
