Winchester 12ga Defender

I have a 25yr old Defender. I was cleaning it the other day and noticed the pump was a little hard to pull back. Any ideas on how to fix it? Or what could be causing it?

I dont know that much about gun care but could you lube it up some how or you could bring it to a gunshop and ask for help and is it true that winchester is going out of buisness?

US Repeating Arms closed the doors in early 2006. The Model 70, Model 94 and the 1300 series went away.

The good news is that the Model 70 is back. Being made USA by Browning subsidary, for release in June 2008.
