I have a Winchester 9422 and can't find any websites to help me date it. I think it's a seventies model but not sure. I would like to know the exact year if possible. I know some of you have those books you can look it up in. Please help me out! The serial number is F1489XX Thank Pontiacdm

hmm, i don't see it listed here: Winchester Manufacture Dates

But they only made them from 1972-2005...not that that helps a lot.

I appreciate you taking time to respond. No one else has! I am looking for a date as close as possible to the exact date. I believe I have one of the first 2 years it was made. It's in 95% condition, it's just beautiful. Who knows I may be on everyone's ignore list.
