My brother in law just called and said he has a Winchester Model 74 22LR. I never knew he had it and wants to sell it. I am tempted to buy it but it only has iron sights; my eyes don't like them anymore. It is an old gun, 1953 and kind of different so if we can come to a price I may own it. He did say they could not get it sighted in right. He said it shot to the right and I don't think he ever moved the rear sight sideways. Does anyone have experience with these? Good or bad?? Thanks

They are fine guns, wish I had one now. It's not hard to tap the front sight over just a smidge to the right.

That's what I thought, either the front or rear could probably be moved. Thanks
