Tragic News

Tragic News. Avery Pro-Staffer Shot.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We just learned that Avery Pro-Staffer Josh Leger was tragically killed yesterday while hunting in his home province of Quebec. Details are sketchy at this point, but apparently someone in an automobile fired a rifle at his decoys hitting Josh in the head.
Again, I don’t have any more details, but our prayers go out to all of Josh’s friends and family. As we get more details we’ll post them here.

Something needs to be done about all the outlawing road hunters.

"He was out hunting with friends and clients and someone thought his spread of snow geese was an actual flock that had landed. The guy pulled over and crawled his way into the field and took one shot with a .22 rifle. Hitting Josh right above the eye. His partner heard the whistling of a flying bullet and then a tiny impact, asked Josh if he had heard. When no answer came, he turned around and realised Josh had been hit."

The guy who killed his has now arrested and will be charged.

That's the way it should be done, he should in my opinion like the other murderers get shot by a firing squad not put in jail to live the rest of his life, even though that is what will most likely happen.

So much for identifying your target. We had a dentist in my town that was shot and killed while turkey hunting. He had gotten his bird and had it in his turkey vest in the back and was walking out. The guy he had taken hunting with him shot him thinking the bird in his vest was a live bird.

Hello, hunter's safety 101, were you sleeping?
