| Suppressor advice - small game hunting
First, suppressors are legal here... I woke up my neighbors this morning with a shotgun blast. They're used to it, so they never mind. But my shooting position left me wanting a small caliber rifle with a supressor. A .22LR would be nice, but some fat geese out there call for something heavier. I'm thinking about getting a .222 for this and other purposes, but I have no experience with suppressors except .22LR and our full auto military weapons fed with sub sonic 9 mm. Much heavier calibers are common with supressors here. I can imagine you'd get a good "pop" as the bullets from these goes super sonic. So will the .222, but what's it like, still, anyone? |

A 223 with a good can on sounds like a 22..... job done, MAE or High country supressors are both good ones out of New Zealand

| Hi, I live an hour's drive north of Oslo, by the lake Mjøsa. Inland country, and no seal hunting here I'm afraid! I've worked in the north for some years too. I have relatives there, and I'm totally lost in that part of Norway too... Imagine fishing huge trout and arctic char at midnight, and the sun is high on the horizon!
